I thought this tasted alright. The 1/2 cup of soft bread crumbs ended up being just one slice of country style bread toasted. I did think though that the topping of the parmesan cheese and toasted bread crumbs seemed a bit much. It made the dish a little less fresh looking then I thought it would appear. The bread topping was kind of oily. I thought the artichokes did dominate the dish, and didn't blend in as well as I expected, but it was a quick side dish for tonight and I got to use up things I had in the house. Plus, it all get eaten.

Unique, elegant and delicious. Brilliant choice of ingredients tp come up with a creative and beautiful dressed up green bean side dish. Hubs and I were both very impressed. I cooked the beans in some leftover chicken broth, and took an easy way with the bread crumbs and just crushed some nice bakery croutons. This is one green bean side dish I won't forget.

Delicious. Prepared as directed but mixed everything together in crock pot. Added pine nuts instead of bread crumbs and lime juice. Sprinkled with cheese just before serving.

WOW! This was delicious and a healthier alternative to a green bean casserole. I used panko bread crumbs instead for a more delicate touch and woud have cooked the beans for 5 minutes instead of 6-8 since I like mine crisp. Brought this to a party and it was a HIT - 5 people asked for the recipe!

It was okay. The artichokes from the can had too strong of a flavor. I don't know what I would change to make it better.

good idea, tasted good, but made my blood sugar go too high with the bread crumbs, too bad... :(

I have made this several times because my boyfriend LOVES it (and so do I). It is a very simple recipe that really spices up boring green beans. I added prawns last time I made it and it was a great addition to make this side dish a bit more substantial.

Excellent! I always cook beans with sauteed mushrooms, and I even added a few slices of bacon. Needed a lot of seasoning to go with the fried chicken, but it was delicious.
