Had this for company...everyone loved it. I only made a couple of changes...I added thinly sliced red onion and freshly shredded parmesan cheese (to replace the blue cheese). YUMMY! I even enjoyed what little we had for leftovers the next day!

Very good. I love the dressing - of which there was an enormous amount. I'm thinking of using it as steak marinade... Thanks for the recipe!

Dressing is great, nice and mild. Put in a clove of garlic instead of onion. I wouldn't use olive oil (tried it but threw it out) it's flavor is too strong for this dressing. A keeper. Thank you.

After reading the reviews and the ingredients in this recipe, I thought this would be fantastic. To my suprise and disappointment, this was not to our taste at all! I think if the dressing was out of the picture, the salad could be fined tuned to make it edible. Sorry but this is not worth trying.

I only used 1 head of lettuce. I doubled the amount of artichoke. I found the dressing strong in the onion flavor. Even after doubled the artichoke, I still thought it was lost within the salad, barely tasting it at all. Probably won't be making this again.

The dressing for this salad is fabulous. I do not have a blender so I just minced the onion with a grater (about 2 heaping tbsp.) and it was great. I cut followed recommendation of extra artichokes which was the right proportion. Will make this one again soon!

My family loved this salad. It was even good the next day, just slightly wilted. Substitued brown sugar Splenda and whole grain mustard in the dressing and it was wonderful.

Traded out blue cheese crumbles for shredded cheese as hubby doesn't like blue cheese. Very nice salad, served as a first course.

This was delicious and very easy to prepare. My only problem: an artichoke salad that uses 6 oz of artichokes for 2 heads of romaine?? I used one head of romaine and 12 oz of artichokes, and I still thought it needed more. The dressing was delicious and very tangy, with just the right amount of sweetness. I omitted the bacon and used maple syrup instead of brown sugar.

Easy to prepare ahead of time and everyone loves it! I also love that the dressing is not mayo or sour cream based - a little healthier than some others.

Absolutely, loved this salad!!! I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit! Very easy to make and the dressing is delicious. I'm making this salad again for a Christmas party (not just for the holidays though, a great dish for year round) Highly recommend!!
