I. Love. This. Dip! Super yummy!! I especially love it with Town House crackers. The first time I made it I only used half the Sour Cream and it still turned out great.

I made it with fat-free cream cheese and sour cream and it still tasted great! Also I shredded mozzerella on the top and broiled it in the oven for a nice crispy and cheesey top.

With a few alterations as suggested by other reviews, this is a great recipe. As suggested, I sauted several cloves of garlic and a few tablespoons of onion in the butter. I also added only half the sour cream; with the full amount, I think you would need more spinach and artichokes. The suggestion to add lemon juice really made the difference in the taste too! I love the fact that this is made on the stove top instead of baked; it's much more convenient and time-saving!

So delicious! I've made this recipe a couple of times before, substituting shredded mozzerella for the parmesan, and that was good, but it's even better with the parm! I shouldn't have changed that, haha! I also halved the sour cream and cream cheese, added a couple of gloves of garlic to the butter, and used Barefooting's suggestion of lemon juice - that really does make the recipe. Even though I changed it a bit, it'd still be a five-star recipe in my opinion.

I made this Christmas Eve and took it to my sisters. Everyone LOVED it!! I made a few changes - used 2 packages of spinach-I put them in the microwave for a few seconds then put the spinach in a strainer and drained alot of the water. used only 1 and a half cartons of sour cream and also used 2 cans of artichokes and lots of garlic. I'm making it again tonight. Happy New Year

What isn't great about this dip? I used no-fat sour cream and lowfat cream cheese. It was quick to make & there were many compliments about how great it tasted!

This is a great recipe. I took the advice of some of the others, and did the following: We added garlic to the butter before adding the veggies; we used half the cream cheese and half sour cream. Unfortunately, we didn't have an entire cup of Parm (we only had about 1/4 to 1/3), but it still turned out great! I can imagine how much better it would have been if we had the entire cup of Parm!!

I used half the amount of cream cheese and sour cream, and it was still enough as an hors d'oeuvre for 10. Also added juice from one small lemon, as suggested by another reviewer. Used half the amount of parmesean and made the rest up with chevre. Served in a large, hollowed out loaf of rye bread.

WE LOVE IT!! It’s good, everyone love this one. We dipped it with tortilla chips or veggies. They are great for the party, the game or just the dinner. I have added a can of corn to it. It turned out pretty good too.

I took the advice of most and decreased the amount of sour cream and cream cheese and doubled the spinach and artichokes. I prepared it on the stove the day before and then on Thanksgiving I heated it up in the slow cooker. I just kept refilling a bowl set out for an appetizer. The hotter it got, the better it tasted. My whole family loved it!! I will be making it again for Christmas.

Awesome I saute the fresh garlic in the butter and I add a variety of white cheeses. Then when its all mixed well on the stove I pour it in a baking dish and cover the top with Parmesan Cheese and bake it till it bubbles right before it is time to serve. It makes it great.!!

I just finished making this and absolutely LOVE IT!!! I did follow some of the other user's suggestions and used less sour cream, about one and a half containers, and one 16oz bag of frozen chopped spinach. I also sauteed 3 minced garlic cloves in with the butter. I threw in a small handful of coarse kosher salt and a bit of ground black pepper. I can't wait to bring it to my boyfriend's thanksgiving tomorrow! :)

I made this for a friend's baby shower and it was a hit! I added garlic, and halved the sour cream and cream cheese per other reviews, and it was perfect. Even though only about 20 people showed up (40 were expected), I still came home with hardly any leftovers and lots of recipe requests!

Delicious! So flexible. I was looking for a recipe without mayo (ew), and this is the best one I could find. I omitted all of the sour cream, and added way more garlic than called for to counteract the cream cheese. I also added lemon juice and freshly ground black pepper.

I really like this recipe, it was very easy, but I did make some changes after reading some other reviews. I only used one package of cream cheese and one package of sour cream. I did use the garlic powder as mentioned in the recipe, but I think next time it will be better to mince garlic and cook it in the beginning. Everyone at my party loved this dip!
