Great! I did as others suggested by using 3/4 c of mayonnaise/sour cream. I also added 12oz of mushrooms.

WOW!! AMAZING,... Only changes I made were to use the food processor (or blender) to make the artichoke mixture more of a sauce. I leave the artichokes in their juice for a moister dish. This has become a family favorite.

This was really good. As suggested I added a half cup chopped frozen spinach and topped it with buttered bread crumbs. Made it twice in two weeks.

I loved the simplicity of this recipe! However, did not like the oily-ness that many others commented on on. Will take the suggestions to use half sour cream as a substitute by other raters.

This was really good. I did make some changes that is why I have a 4 star review. This is a great base recipe. The changes I made are as follows. I added 1/2 cup of fresh chopped spinach, I used just 1/4 cup of Mayonnaise (helmans light) and the rest light sour cream. I added salt and black pepper and garlic powder to the mixture (just to taste not sure on the amounts). I also added two tablespoons of panko bread crumbs for texture to the mixture. I also seasoned my chicken with salt and pepper before adding topping. After adding topping on chicken I sprinkled panko bread crumbs on top of each breast to add a little crunchiness to the topping. Loved it!!!

I made this dish tonight. It was really good. I followed some of the users suggestions and sauteed the artichokes with portobella mushrooms and garlic. I also used half mayo and 1/2 plain yogurt and put breadcrumbs on top. The kids liked it, so this one is a keeper.

I love this recipe so much, I double the topping ingredients. Instead of using so much mayonnaise, I cut it by half and replace with Greek yogurt. It's still creamy and delicious, but without so much fat. I like to fix this at least 3 times a month. Hopefully we won't get burned out on it.

This was pretty good, very easy! Used half mayo and half sour cream as another reader suggested. Could have used more artichokes, perhaps another half a can.

This was really great. I was hesitant at first because I don't usually cook with mayo. I used half mayo and half sour cream like others suggested. I also add lots of black pepper, paprika and granulated garlic to the mix. I seasoned the chicken before topping with the artichoke mixture. I served this over mashed potatoes. The hubby loved it! Will definitely make again.

Since I have been on bedrest during my pregnancy, hubby decided to make this dish. It was actually pretty good. I think there was just a little too much of the artichoke topping, but otherwise it was great. Thanks for the post.

Good! Used non-marinated artichokes & all mayo(Hellmann's light), no sour cream, and we didn't find it too greasy at all. I seasoned the chicken on both sides and added chopped mushrooms, slivers of red onion, and dried parsley to the top before popping it in oven. Very tasty..

Not bad. I used marinated artichoke hearts and used half sour cream/half light mayo. I also breaded the chicken breasts and pan-fried them before topping with artichoke and putting in the oven. Nice for a change.
