All of my friends were so impressed when I served this dip! Try the pita chip recipe from AllRecipes - goes great with the dip.

I made this for a cookout and everyone really liked it. I too thought it was too bland when I tasted it before I baked it so I did add salt and some fresh cracked pepper. Also I used a whole head of roasted garlic instead of just a couple of cloves.

I agree with previous reviews that this dip was way too bland. The next day, my husband and I pulled it out of the fridge, zapped in the microwave, stirred in a bit of onion and garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and it was a million times better. I think if I had used an alfredo sauce that had garlic flavor already or marinated artichoke hearts it would have helped, but honestly, it needed the salt more than anything. My husband agreed that it lacked something to be desired. So with a little doctoring, it's pretty good. But definitely not the best I've ever had. I would suggest adding about a 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and at least a 1/2 tsp each of garlic and onion powder before baking. I also added a little pimento on top before baking and it added a little color and flavor.

I wasn't really thrilled with this recipe. I followed the recipe as written also. I wanted to love it, but something was really off to us. First, I didn't like the flavor of the purchased alfredo sauce in this at all. Second, to me it was like a thicker version of creamed spinach. I was surprised being it has so many high ratings, maybe it's just me. I didn't think this was anything like a restaurant, at least what I have had. Thanks for sharing though.

This is easy and SOOO GOOD! My husband and brother-in-law ate an entire batch standing at the kitchen counter. They wouldn't let me take it away long enough to move it to the dinner table!

I made this recipe this weekend, and WOW it was delicious! Even my todler loved it! I think the key is the alfredo sauce. I used fresh chopped garlic instead of roasting it. Also, I noticed that the picture has fresh chopped tomatoes on the top but the recipe didn't include them. Any time I order this dip from a restaraunt, it always has the tomatoes on top so I added them right after taking it out of the oven. Super Yummy!

I really wanted to like this recipe. It was actually on the expensive side to make and it wasn't as good as I was hoping. I followed the advice of others and added 8 ounces of cream cheese. I think that detracted from the recipe because my dip tasted quite bland. I also didn't roast the garlic and just added jared minced garlic. If you're making it for the first time I would stick to the recipe and then make changes after you try it as written. I doctored it w/o trying the original recipe and I think I would have been better off following it to the letter. The presentation was nice, the taste was bland.

This recipe is great and extremely easy! I made a lighter version with fat free cream cheese, Ragu's light alfredo sauce, and reduced calorie parmesan cheese. I threw everything in a crock pot and cooked until warm. It was a hit! I was asked for the recipe by several girlfriends.

This was exceptional. Followed recipe, used 3/4 of the 8 oz size of cream cheese--perfect. Added a touch of hot sauce. Didnt layer it in the 8x8 pan; mixed all the ingred together--then put into a casserole dish. This is the one!

I never write reviews because I always alter recipes to suit my taste. However, I did not alter this recipe and it was fabulous. Restaurant quality! The first time I made it was for a party and numerous people asked for the recipe. The second time I made it was for my in-laws and they gobbled it up and requested the recipe. It is so yummy!

I love this recipe and so does everyone I've served it to thus far. I especially like that it doesn't use mayo. I used fresh spinach and didn't roast the garlic. I just sauteed about 1 and 1/4 bags of fresh spinach with fresh sliced garlic then proceeded with recipe. I use sun-dried-tomato alfredo. Love it!
