This is a great recipe, especially on those nights I don't know what to cook or don't have a lot of time. I always make sure my pantry has the ingredients to make this. The only minor change I make is that I used canned crushed tomatoes.

I am making this again for the 4th time tonight! My family loves it! The only thing I do is omit the hot pepper flakes--my 3 year old son is not a fan of spicy food. But, I add them back onto my plate, and all is well!

Very nice for the effort and time required. Might try frying some sliced Italian sausage with the onions, if you want some meat/bulk in there. Instead of Italian seasoning, I used some rosemary, oregano and extra basil. I think this would only serve 3 or 4 people, not 6.

I liked this sauce, but my husband started coughing and sputtering on the first bite(whimp). I even used half the pepper flakes. I didn't even attempt it with the kiddo's.

This was okay. My daughter thought it was too spicy, but she is young. Did not knock my socks off. I think better use for this would be to scale to 1 cup-- Then, First butter some sourdough rolls an broil until brown, top with this recipe, top with mozeralla cheese and broil again until cheese is melted. Sorry know this is a whole new take, but asa a pasta topper it just is not worth the time. No one was impressed.

Good, but tasted like it was missing something. Of course, the fact that I was trying to buy these ingredients in a country where I don't speak the language very well may have had some effect on that. Still a good sauce though, and I feel that if I had been able to be more sure of my purchase of the ingredients, it would have been even better.

Quick and easy and very very tasty. I chopped a handful of baby carrots and added them with the onions and garlic, I can't drink wine (allergic), so I used beef stock instead, and I left out the lemon juice (couldn't see why it was needed). I also used dried herbs instead of fresh. I just can't believe how great it tastes.

This is a really awesome sauce... and for those of you who don't know, Arrabbiata Sauce is SUPPOSED to be spicy... so make basic spaghetti sauce if you don't like spicy foods to spare this recipe the bad reviews. Anyway, this recipe was great with some extras thrown in like chopped spinach and kalamata olives... I'll definitely make this again!

It was a little acidic. I don't understand adding sugar AND lemon juice to it. Next time I make it, I'll leave out the lemon juice. With all that said, it was a VERY good sauce. Very easy, too.

I worked at a Italian restaurant & this was one of my favorites. I was real shcoked on how perfect it tasted. I do not really like (chunky) red sauce, I like smooth red sauce, so I used crushed tomato sauce instead!!!Perfecto!!!!!!!

Amazing. I have never really cooked before, and what a great place to start. This meal was done really quickly and tasted far better than i had imagined and as good as the best high street sauce. I cant reccomend this sauce enough. I used 1 can of tomatoes rather than 2, the chili was enough in my opinion and I would use 1/2 a Tablespoon of sugar next time as it was too sweet for my liking (the way i made it).

This sauce did have a good spicy taste which is what I was looking for! I have made it a few times and I like it better using crushed tomatoes instead of the diced tomatoes. Also the longer it cooks the better it tastes!

Very good sauce, also very spicy. If you don't like your sauce hot, cut the red pepper flakes in half.

Very good, made as is. Definitely had some kick! I lightly drained the diced tomatoes and felt the sauce was too thick, next time I won't drain them.
