Apricots and walnuts, hummm, I liked the apricot bread a lot, but for some reason, it was better off without the walnuts. I tried it first without any modifacations, but ended up with good looking, but funny tasting bread. My children disliked it right away, and I agreed with my husband that something was off about the recipe. The second time I made it, I elimanated the walnuts, substituting dates insatead. The bread was much better the second time around, and I personally loved it. This is definitely a recipe I would recommend, but don't be afraid to alter it to fit your tastes, all recipes are best that way!
