A really great recipe, but I recommend doubling the topping portion. You won't have very much if you do not.

I gave this 3 stars because it was runny, even after increasing the cornstarch and cooking it longer than stated to try to get it to thicken. Since it didn't thicken I added 1 tbl. of flour and it still was runny. I did use 14 fresh apricots instead of canned apricots so maybe that is why. Other reviews also complained about it being runny. I agree with another reviewer that the topping was kind of bland and I didn't think there was enough topping compared to the amount of filling. I'd look for another recipe, this one has too many issues.

I added granola and raisons to the topping then sprinkled granola over the topping. Turned out wonderful!

This was my first cobbler, usually I make buckles, and this was really really good! I had to make a double batch of the topping because the original didn't cover, but the taste was outstanding!

this is a great recipe. . . my husband ate half all in one sitting! I used fresh apricots like many others and also added more nutmeg & cinammon and some 'bottom of the bag' nuts to the crumb topping. For those that thought it was too runny, you probably needed to cook the apricot filling a little longer as it thickens the longer you cook it.

Best served with ice cream or whipped cream, like most cobblers. However, by itself (since I didn't have any whipped/ice cream on hand), it's great. I used 2 29oz cans apricots drained, but instead of 1c water, I used 1c of the apricot juice that was drained. This of course adds to the apricot flavor and sweetness. The topping did expand while baking, though it looked mediocre when I first put it into the oven. Awesome taste, and husband requested 3rds.

I loved this. I scaled it down and used fresh apricots sliced thinly - everything else I left as the recipe called for. I didn't think the topping was bad at all..the apricots have so much tang that the topping being mild meshed well. Will definitely make again!

I really liked the apricot part, but didn't like the topping part because it didn't have much flavor.
