I tweaked the recipe a bit because I had only fresh apricots. I used 2 or 2-1/2 cups of fresh, chopped apricots, I used a 4 ounce cup of unsweetened applesauce instead of the margarine and I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Very, very moist and good! Thank you so much for the recipe! I tried the half regular flour and half wheat flour, but felt it made the bread too heavy, so prefer the regular flour.

This has a nice flavor overall. I went with other suggestions and added the extra 1 tbsp of butter and 3 tbsp of oj. This wasn't the best quick bread recipe I've ever tasted but we enjoyed it.

this bread is to die for!! everyone loves it and requests it often. i do not soak my apricots though. i think they get to mushy that way and i like biting into a chewy bit of apricot here and there.

Sooo good! This was the BEST quick bread I have ever made. The only changes I made was following some other reviewers' suggestions, I used white whole wheat flour for half the all-purpose and added a little more butter (applesauce) and oj than what was called for. This bread disappeared so quickly that I am planning on making it again next week! Thanks for such an awesome recipe!

I made this once and tweaked it a little. Made it again w/more tweaks. Great!!! I added the 3 extra T of orange juice as suggested. Used half regular flour and half whole wheat. Did away with the oil and used 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce. All else remained the same. Yum!!
