Loved it- used 1/2 apple sauce in place of the oil and 1/2 wheat flour in place of regular flour

Made this the other day ( no changes to the recipe ) and we think it is GREAT, Hubby said it is the best zucchine bread I have ever made. We like it so much I am making it again today, but this time I am going to add raisins at Hubby's request.

Reviewer before me was right, apple was difficult to taste but it did add a bit of moisture. I didn't read all the way to the bottom of the recipe before making(which is typical for me, to fly by the seat of my pants), so I didn't realize that it made three loaves worth. Good thing I didn't use my Kitchen Aid but my largest metal mixing bowl. I used half wheat flour, half all-purpose and melted butter instead of vegetable oil, as I happen to be out at the moment. I made no other changes. I did wisk the dry ingredients together before adding all the wet and just mixed until moistened. Good flavor, quite moist. I just think I'd like mine a little spicier next time. Maybe add a bit of orange zest?

Was looking for something different and found this one. The apple was difficult to taste but added great moisture to the bread. Gave it to neighbors and they still rave about it.

I couldn't taste the apples at all in this bread. It was good, it tasted just like plain zucchini bread to me, but I will not make it again.

I really like this recipe,it's almost the same as mine, instead i add raisins to it,if you use the raisins you will want to soak them in warm water first, also i call this apple raisin nut bread because pp don't like zucchini,I give this at x-mas time instead of the fruitcake.

This recipe was pretty good. Although, it was little dark after baking. I even cut the baking time by 10 minutes. I may change the sugar amounts next time.

Great recipe, I used applesauce instead of oil and used splenda instead of sugar. Tastes fantastic.

This recipe was exactly what I wanted! It's golden brown on the outside and moist and yummy on the inside. Delicious!

Yum! Made with half whole wheat flour, 1/2 splenda in the sugar, added shredded carrots, golden raisins and fresh chopped pineapple. I only used 2 tbsp of oil and added yogurt and applesauce for moistness. They came out great, thank you! Can't wait to try it with different fruit variations, and I think I will try skipping the oil all together.

This was my first ever attempt at zucchini bread and it was wonderful! Not too sweet, but that's what makes it a bread and not a cake.

AWESOME! I made it exactly as recipe called for but I made 6 mini loaves instead (5-3/4 X 3-1/4 X 2). Kept one for myself and gave the rest out as gifts. Everybody, including me, LOVED them. Especially good warm. THANKS!!!

Good recipe using apples and zucchini! I changed the oil to applesauce to make it more apple like -- that was a good change. If I make it again, I would leave out the nutmeg.
