Good! I did make changes as suggested by other reviews (more spices, more cheese...etc)

This was very bland. The stuffing tasted fine but the chicken had no flavor. I don't think I will make again.

I wasn't too pleased with this recipe. I found the flavor to be very bland and i even added more spices then what the recipe called for. If I do try this one again, I think I'll add more cheese as well. Thanks for the unique recipe though

This recipe wasn't bad. I followed some of the other reviews and seasoned the chicken. I also used chicken broth instead of water, and no white wine. I added 1tsp of teriyaki sauce to the stuffing, and to the sauce. This was my first recipe from all recipes. I happen to have an apple, cheese and chicken so I tried it out. I probably wont be making it again, but it was a different experience. Thanks!!

Followed SIMPLYRAINAH's advice and added brown sugar, cinnamon, and a bit of pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder, oregano and basil to the breadcrumb mix. I didn't use cheese because I'm not a fan, and I was worried that things weren't going to "hold together" as well, but this turned out fantastically! I also used chicken broth instead of water, as suggested, and added some brown sugar and extra apples to the sauce at the end to make it absolutely fabulous!

It was alright, but pretty bland. I took some of the suggestions from the other reviews and added cinnamon, thyme, basil, garlic, and a little bit of brown sugar to the apple mix and that tasted great. my problem was with the chicken. It didn't seem to absorb any of the bite of the wine. Next time, I'll marinate it in some olive oil and spices first.

This is a really good recipe. I really never cook and was surprised how easy it went together. I just butterflied the chicken breasts and stuffed them, I didn't pound them flat. I followed some of the advice of the other reviewers and added more cheese and spices to the apple mixture. I used plain breadcrumbs, but probably could have done without them. I used Dubliner Irish cheese and white cheddar, and a dash of cumin, garlic salt, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a little cayenne pepper. I also salted and peppered the chicken lightly before browning. I used all white wine in the simmer, no broth or water. I gave it 4 stars since I had to add some stuff to it, but I would give it 4 and a half if possible. Considering how low in calories this is (probably still less than 250 with the sugar and extra cheese and wine), and how very tasty, I'm sure I'll make it again. The Husband loved it too!

I didnt think there was much flavor to this dish. I had made this for Christmas dinner and wish I would have had a chance to play with the recipe before serving.

These were OK as is, but nothing I would have kept since there is no shortage of chicken recipes. With a few changes however I think it will go into my recipe box. I used granny smith apples, doubled the cheddar, added 1 minced garlic clove, used roasted garlic bread crumbs, added a few shakes of onion and curry powder and a tbsp of tarragon. I also only brown the chicken breast in a little olive oil and skip the gravy alltogether. Very good with those changes.

The chicken was hard to flip with the toothpicks in it. Needless to say, I made a huge mess, but the stuffing was delicious, and a great way to use up leftover things I had around the kitchen.

I didn't take the time to stuff the chicken, placed the stuffing on top the chicken while it cooked and it turned out great.

This was really good, especially the wine reduction sauce! I would recommend some type of "glue" for the stuffing, though, like a mustard of some sort: adds a bit of "tang" to the dish.
