This. Is. Awesome. I was looking for a change from the two syrups I have been making from this site and I had a large gallon jug of apple cider that I wouldn't be able to use before it went bad. So, here we are. I tripled the recipe, added cinnamon, a little vanilla and a little butter. I brought it to a boil and let it thicken, then cooled it on the stove. It's SO yum. I can't wait to try it tomorrow on either french toast or pancakes. Thanks to the person who submitted this recipe.

Although I thought this was a nice change, the fam was *NOT* keen on this at all. Instead of All-Spice and Nutmeg, I used Penzey's Apple Pie Spice.

This is a great syrup! I don't like maple flavoured anything (or the flavoured high-fructose-corn-syrup varieties of syrup found in supermarkets), so this was a nice find. Thank you :)

Easy and a nice change from maple syrup. Love this in the Autumn. Served with pancakes with finely diced apples in them.
