loved it, but i melted the butter first and added it to the apple mix then i made another mix and made that one crumbly. It may have a little bit more sugar but it is all the more better. I will make this recipe again, I thought it was easy and I am eleven!

Excellent and easy! Will definitely make again. In fact, next time I have a garden, I'll grow rhubarb just so I can make this again! YUMMY!

I have made many fruit crumbles over the years - my favorite dessert - and this one tops all! I cut back the sugar to 1/2 cup and it could probably even be cut back to 1/4. I can't wait to make it again!

This dessert was a hit, I had 3 apples and 2 cups of rhubarb on hand and it was still delicious. If I was to make it again I would cut back to 1/4 cup on the sugar and probably double the nutmeg, just based on our personal preferences. Everyone loved it and it was so easy to make!

VERY good. Used rolled old fashioned oats with the flower and corn syrup (no maple in my house). Accidentally mixed the brown sugar in with the apple/rhubarb mixture but it all turned out great. Oh, also baked in 9x9 pan at 350 for an hour and it browned nicely! Thank you.

This crumble has been a frequent hit at our table. Even my children who think they don't like rhubarb, like this recipe. And apples are a much more common fruit in the average kitchen over strawberries. I add a 1/2 cup of oats to the crumble top and it makes it even better.

Very good! I followed another reviewer's suggestion and added some oats to the crust as well (the same amount of oats as flour). I also cut the recipe in half since I only had one apple and a cup and half of rhubarb. Cooked it in a glass pie baking dish and had it for breakfast the next day!

This was good. I had rhubarb out of the garden and apples to use up. Was good straight out of the oven with some vanilla ice cream.

Nothing special. Nothing wrong with it in particular, just bland and a bit mushy.

My daughter and I had gone to the Farmers Market and purchased fresh rhubarb. I had never made a crumble, but this recipe was easy and delicious!

This was my first time cooking and tasting rhubarb. My husband is from Australia and he said his Mum used to make apple rhubarb pie. So this recipe seemed like a good substitute. I had a hard time tasting the rhubarb, it was very much like an apple crisp or apple crumble. Very good taste! We had it warm with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious!

This was way too sweet for mine and my husband's taste. I had even cut back on the brown and regular sugar by 1/4 cup each (I made it for four servings). I will try making it again with even less sugar as I did like the maple taste.

My husband "inhaled" it. Great way to do rhubarb. I try to use as much sweetener as possible, but it tasted great, anyway......

My family loved this recipe! The only thing I changed was I put oats in the crust. (1/2 cup oats and 1/2 cup flour) The maple syrup is a great touch but next time I may just put 3/4 cup sugar in instead of the full 1 cup. Thanks for the great recipe :)
