I don't usually like 'baking' with the microwave, but this recipe works great. The topping comes out crispy on top, moist inside, and delicious all around. It's a wonderful dessert that's quick and easy to make. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.

I devised this recipe when I was trying to use up that leftover homemade cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving! You could probably also use canned whole cranberry sauce for this recipe.

A great combination of apples and cranberries with a crispy topping. A favorite at Thanksgiving instead of plain cranberries.

The apple filling is cooked until thick and flavored with sugar and cinnamon. It 's then poured into a large baking pan and covered with a sweet, buttery oat topping. Twenty-minutes in the oven and it 's ready to serve with ice cream or caramel sauce.

Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, rhubarb and apples are all stirred up together with sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and cinnamon. Then this glorious mixture is heaped into a large 9x13-inch pan, topped with an oatmeal and brown sugar crumble, and baked.

With applesauce, this apple crisp offers twice the apple goodness of others. Applesauce, brown sugar and cinnamon are combined, and stirred into sliced apples. The mixture is then piled into a large baking dish and topped with sugar. The crisp is then baked in the oven for one hour.

Lovely tart apples are sliced up and arranged in a baking dish with lemon juice and water. Sprinkled on top is a delicious crumble topping made of oats, brown sugar, a bit of flour, butter, and chopped walnuts. And then the crisp is baked until the apples are tender and the top lightly browned.

Three layers make up this hearty 9x13-inch crisp. Sweet apple slices find their home between generous layers of a delicious crumbly mixture -flour, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and oatmeal.
