I couldn't believe how good this was. I don't usually like apple desserts because they get so mushy, but that wasn't a problem with this recipe. Plus it was a great use for my slightly stale whole wheat bread.

I used leftover rolls from dinner for this dessert. Thumbs up from all three of my picky kids and my picky husband. Very easy to make and absolutely delicious.

Very tasty and simple! A real treat, next time I will add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Thanks for sharing :)

DELICIOUS! So easy and comforting. I used some leftover potato hot dog buns that I needed to use up and cubed them. I followed the recipe to a T and it came out wonderfully! Thanks so much for a quick, easy, and economical recipe

Now this was simple....too simple. I had my doubts especially since I didn't have bread cubes and used 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. I served hot over ice cream and it was fabulous.

Yum! This was so simple. It's good warm, obviously, but I also thought it was good cold, too. I ate the leftovers for part of my breakfast the next day...mmmm.

Wow, this is yummy!!! I wasn't sure how the bread in it would be, but it turned out divine! And oh, so quick and easy! I can't wait to make it again. My hubby loved it too!

Do not let the simplicity of this recipe fool you! It is delicious! I made it one Sunday morning while I was feeling homesick. Instead of using bread cubes, after I cooked my apples for about a minute, I sprinkled flour in the pan to make a kind of crunchy topping with the butter and sugar. I am more of a creative cook and am not positive if I followed the recipe to a T, but what I made was really great and I used this recipe to inspire me. If you do add the flour, be careful not to burn it.
