Pork Loin Chops in Apple Cream

Pork chops are browned, then simmered in an apple cider infusion and finished in half-and-half or cream. Makes a great dinner for two, simple to prepare, hearty enough for him, but delicious by any standards. Can substitute chicken breasts for the pork loin chops.

This is a full-flavored, pungent, yet subtle special occasion dish. We served the meal with diced, spiced new potatoes with chopped onions baked in foil for 40 minutes, and a Caesar salad.

Pork chops are rolled around apple and cheese before cooking on the stovetop. This is a great autumn dish that is wonderful served with brown rice.

These easy and tasty pork chops are on the stove in minutes. Rosemary and beef broth enrich the flavor of the meat and make this a great comfort-food main dish.
