I had a hard time deciding whether or not I liked this recipe. It was pretty tasty, but I have a strong disposition against cream cheese. So while my taste buds were going "yum" my brain was analyzing the texture and saying, "Too cream cheesy!" I ate about half an apple with this, and then I added a dash of cinnamon, and that definitely helped to cut back on the cream cheesiness. I think if I had this at a party or something, and didn't KNOW that there was cream cheese in it, I would definitely think it was delicious.
So...if you like cream cheese, you will love this! It does have a nice warm taste that compliments tart apples nicely.
If you don't like cream cheese, still try this, but add a touch of cinnamon.
