I devised this recipe when I was trying to use up that leftover homemade cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving! You could probably also use canned whole cranberry sauce for this recipe.

A splendid concoction of cubed apples and pears, dried cranberries, a bit of flour, honey, and lemon juice is spooned into a baking pan, and then covered with a crumbly butter and nut mixture. Forty-five minutes later, the crisp is brown and beautiful.

With applesauce, this apple crisp offers twice the apple goodness of others. Applesauce, brown sugar and cinnamon are combined, and stirred into sliced apples. The mixture is then piled into a large baking dish and topped with sugar. The crisp is then baked in the oven for one hour.

I don't usually like 'baking' with the microwave, but this recipe works great. The topping comes out crispy on top, moist inside, and delicious all around. It's a wonderful dessert that's quick and easy to make. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping. 

Delicious Apple Crisp

The apple filling is cooked until thick and flavored with sugar and cinnamon. It 's then poured into a large baking pan and covered with a sweet, buttery oat topping. Twenty-minutes in the oven and it 's ready to serve with ice cream or caramel sauce.
