This bread is so moist and delicious. The apples add just the right amount of moisture. Great after being frozen, too.

My batter was really dry at first, so I added a little bit of water (about 3 Tbs) and it ended up tasting really good and moist.

I omitted the walnuts, but followed the recipe exactly for everything else. Everyone loved the bread, and it was a fantastic healthy treat for the holidays.

This was definitely a tasty bread. Not very sweet, but it had a nice flavor. I did not add the nuts on the request of my partner -- big mistake! The bread really needed the extra texture. Be prepared for a super-stiff dough -- I abandoned my wooden spoon and used my hands to mix the dough at the end. Unlike others I added all the cranberries and apples and I'm glad I did! I used my leftover cranberries and apples to make cranapple sauce... perfect seasonal food.

I really loved this recipe. I excluded the nuts cause I made them for my son for school. I also added ground allspice and cloves to give it a warm spicey flavour perfect for the colder season. This is one of my favourites and I have made it twice already in the week since I found it. Thank you so much for sharing

Very easy to make and tasted great. I made it at the last minute on Thanksgiving morning when I found out I was getting company for breakfast. Will definately make again soon. Kid friendly too.

My whole family really enjoyed this bread. I made it with 1/2 whole wheat flour - yummy! Glad I read the reviews first though because the dough does look strange!

On taste alone I would give it a 4. The reason that I am giving it a 2 is because when I made the batter it didn't have enough liquids to combine all of the ingredients. I ended up having to add 1/4 cup milk to just the ingredients combined. I don't know what went wrong but now I know for next time. I will make it again but will add milk and more cinnamon.

Very good. The proportion of apples and cranberries to batter really is very high. In the bowl, it looked more like fruit salad than anything else. I even left out the nuts, thinking that the batter couldn't handle any mroe solids. When I put it in the oven, I was worried that it was not going to turn out at all. I shouldn't have worried. It came out great. But I should have added the nuts -- without them, the flavor was a little one dimensional.

I followed this recipe exactly and was worried because the ratio of apples was so high relative to the dough. It came out wonderfully, will definitely use it again.

I went apple picking and was looking for a recipe to use up some of my apples. I didn't have enough flour so I made some out of oats. I had old fashioned oats that I ground to a flour. With only 2 Tbls or Oil and the oats, I think this is a pretty healthy breakfast bread. I used dried cranberries and baked it for 60 mins. The recipe did not say to pre heat the oven so I did't, not sure if it would have made a difference or not. Between my husband and I we finished it off in less than 24 hours!

I made this recipe into muffins, using a single-serving package of unsweetened applesauce, instead of the oil. Deliciious, but next time I will reduce the fruit by half.

I love this recipe, but I have changed several things. First of all, I use half whole wheat flour, and half amaranth flour. Amaranth flour gives it a nutty and full flavor that is quite unique. I also add approximately a teaspoon of vanilla, and extra cinnamon. Also, the cranberries I bought are the orange flavored cranberries. I also make them as muffins, which is very convenient for snacking, clean up and it also cuts way down on baking time.

It was good, but I think I prefer cranberry orange bread. I used wheat flour, and it turned out fine. I was super concerned that there wasn't enough batter when I was mixing it up, but it baked up just fine.

This bread is really great. I up the cinnamon just a bit to accentuate the apples even more - the tarter the apples the better.
