This recipe was very easy to follow, I did not change a thing. I did though add a sprinkle of very fine chopped walnuts mixed with sugar & cinnamon. Made this for fathers day and got rave reviews, will be making it again.

This cake sounds wonderful and delicious my only trepidation is wondering about the amount of baking powder. Three teaspoons seems like alot of baking powder, can anyone tell me why it calls for so much?

Excellent. Definately a keeper. I followed the directions exactly as stated. I did add a tsp of cinnamon to the crumb topping. The only change I might make is make some extra crumb topping without nuts too and add that on top. My glaze was just powdered sugar and water, no butter. Everyone raved about it at work. When I went for seconds, the whole tray was already gone! Thanks for a great recipe.

This recipe worked out perfect except that the batter came out a little dry. Next time I will add a little bit of apple sauce to add some moisture back to the mix. I highly recommend this recipe though!!!

I made this as a snack for after christmas breakfast and it was delicous!!! I made a few adjustments to the batter recipe to make it more moist;by adding 3 table spoons of applesauce. I added 2 tsp of ground cinnamon to the batter for a little exra spice. And for the rasin lovers in my family I sprinkled half with raisen- brown sugar mixture and ther other just brown sugar and butter. It was so great i got request to make it again!

I absolutely love this recipe. It is quick, easy, and delicious. I have made it twice, and it turned out fabulous both times. My husband loved the apple inside so much that the second time I added extra pie filling. Nothing but compliments from everyone who has tried it!
