Good, but missing something. In my opinion, this recipe needs to be tweaked for optimal flavor; however, provides the basis for a great recipe when tweaked.

My family loves these turnovers! Even those who aren't big fans of refrigerated biscuits really liked them. They are so easy to make, and taste very good! I like to seal the turnovers with a fork instead of just pinching the edges; they look prettier and it is much easier!

Try this for your apple filling instead...it keeps the bisuit dough from getting soggy....2/3 c. sugar, 1/3 c. all purpose flour, 1 Tbsp. cinnamon, pinch of salt, a dash of ground cloves. Mix this in a mixing bowl and place in the middle of the rolled out biscuit discs. Pinch the edges to seal them. Brush lightly with butter. Combine 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 3 Tbsp of sugar and sprinkle it over the discs. Bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. See how that does for ya

This is very Sandra Lee Semi homemade. I thought this was a great recipe. I took it to a church potluck and it was a huge hit. People have asked me for the recipe and that I bring it every month. Thank you for a great quick and tasty recipe. The only thing I did different was to double everything.

I made it and was surprised how well it turned out given the mixed reviews. I used what I had on hand, the extra buttery grand biscuits, and cinnamon flavored apple sauce. I thought it was tasty, I baked it on a baking stone, so it wasn't soggy, but nice and crispy on the outside. Next time I make it though, I will try it with a glaze instead of topping it with sugar before hand.

I made this using pie dough and it was just scrumptious!! The filling seems too good to be true... but it is PERFECT, we finished them the same night and I will make them over and over.

I should have read the reviews before making these. The reviews that gave the best ratings were the ones that didn't use "biscuit" dough. I did and they came out soggy and unappealing.

I was disappointed in these, they sounded wonderful but turned out a bit soggy. The cinnamon apples inside were delicious but the biscuits just didn't turn out for me.

i tried this recipe first using some left over pie crust that i had and they were delicious...tried it the 2nd time with the biscuits and they were less of a hit. i think the pie crust is a bit better (think a healthier form of the mcdonald's version we all know and love) but the plate was empty nontheless...very good and VERY easy!

Nice sweet breakfast treat using canned biscuits! Here are some hints: Unpeeled apple finely diced worked well. I rolled out one circle at a time, filled it, sealed it, then moved to the next circle--because the dough circles tended to shrink quickly after rolling. Make sure to secure the seal well, so the filling stays in as best as it can. I also added a light drizzle of a buttery confectioner's sugar glaze, once they emerged from the oven. The next time I'll cut the sugar (called for) in half, then add my glaze. That should be just the perfect amount of sweetness with the extra special touch of a wet glaze, too!

These are wonderful, although I goofed on the recipe. I didn't pay attention too well & instead of dividing the cinnamon, I added all of it to the apple mixture! Wow,it was really cinnamony! But,still very good. When I make these again,I would add just a touch of sugar to the filling, maybe 1 tsp. Also, I didn't have any biscuits so I used crescent rolls (pinched them together to make 4 rectangles & frosting on top..yum!Baked at 375 for 14 mins.
