Very good!! I used 2 TBSP. Splenda Sugar Blend and 2 TBSP. Splenda Brown Sugar. I did not have any dried apples & did not miss them at all. This is much better than the premade packets. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

We go through a batch of this a week between my 2 toddlers who love oatmeal. I was looking for something that includes spices so we can eliminate some of the sugar. I do not keep dried apples and they are expensive, so I add 1 cup raisins and when I make this in the morning I scoop a spoonful of unsweetened applesauce into the bowl. I have made this sweetened as written, with sugar-twin in place of the white sugar, and with 1/3 cup of brown sugar instead of the white. They are all pretty good. I think the powdered milk and hint of cloves makes this recipe great. You would never bother to get out the cloves for one bowl of oatmeal, but it really add a lot to the mix.

Yum! Cut the recipe in half because I like to keep mine fresh. Added dried apples, apricots, cranberries & raisins. Also added flax seed & oat bran to boost the nutrition. I use old-fashioned oats & my homemade apple pie spice. Next time I am going to try steel cut oats. Thanks!

Made the recipe as a gift for a friend, and he absolutely loved it. Made it for myself with apricots instead of apples, and subbed nutmeg for the cloves, and it was really good that way, too. A great way to start your day, you can't go wrong with this oatmeal.

This is pretty good, way better and healthier than store bought stuff. I sometimes add ground flax and wheat germ if I have it on hand. Not sure how much, I just eyeball it. I have made different varieties by using dried blueberries, cranberries, apricots, etc. Just omit the apple(or keep it for a neat flavor). We also omit the apple and add fresh fruit (bananas, peaches, blueberries)to our bowls before we microwave it with a little bit of water. Great idea for adding health without adding the extras sodium and preservatives.

Loved this recipe. I left out the apples, but it was still very good. Very handy to have at work. I just add boiling water and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Yummy!

Pretty good! I used a mixture of Splenda sweetener and Splenda Brown Sugar Sweetener. Worked out fine.
