This was really, really good pork! I halved the recipe, so I only used one pork tenderloin. I cooked it with the apple juice for 30 minutes (covered). Then I drained off the apple juice/broth to use later for the gravy. I spread on the apple butter mixture and added a little extra apple juice to the bottom of the pan. I then covered and baked for another 45 minutes. It was fork tender by the time it came out. I added about 1 cup of chicken broth to the baking juices from earlier and thickend with cornstarch to make a gravy. Next time I think I'll leave out the brown sugar as I thought it was a little too sweet. I used homemade All Day Apple Butter from this site that I canned last fall for this.

Yummy! I dumped all of the ingredients into the crock pot and four/five hours later, I had delicious pork. I shredded it with a fork and served over garlic mashers. YUM!

Okay, on the one hand it was easy and smelled great when cooking. On the other hand, it was dry and no one really liked it. Sorry, but I won't be doing this one again.

I tried this tonight. I actually only had one tenderloin, so I adjusted the recipe accordingly. I did add 1/4 teaspoon ginger and used Apple Butter and some leftover pumpkin butter together with the other ingredients. This was awesome! I will defintely be making this one again!

I really like this recipe. I took the advice of others and only cooked it the second time for 1 hour, any more would be too much! It is so good now whenever I use another recipe for pork tenderloin my boyfriend is so disappointed that I didn't make this one!

tried this last night, used 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 1/4 lbs) for just my husband and me. cut all ingredients in half, and used allspice instead of cloves, which i didn't have in the house. of course, the cooking time is way off. i cooked it for 15 min, then spread on the apple butter mixture and cooked it for an additional 25 min, for a total of 40 min. the last 5 min i left it uncovered. it was very good, tender and juicy, we could it with our forks. most tenderloins i've made tend to come out dry, but not this one.

This is the best pork dinner I have ever made. I used a 2lb loin roast and used the converter to modify the other ingredients. I still cooked the roast for a total 3 hours but turned it down to 350 for the last 2. TENDER TENDER TEDNER. The flavor was amazing. Thank you. This is going to become one of signature dishes. Served it with mashed potatoes and broccolini.

Excellent. My new favourite pork recipe. I love the sweetness of the sauce mixed with the pork. I have made this recipe without the apple juice and substituting pomegranate juice, blueberry juice... whatever I had in the fridge at the time. However, draining the pork after cooking is essential to get the apple butter mixture to set properly. Thanks for the great recipe. It's been added to my list of favourites.

40 minutes at the most for the first step, another 40 minutes for the second part. I reduced the liquid by 2/3 and threw in a can of pork gravy - Served with a side of cling peaches - Excellent!
