I did not have apple butter so in a pinch I made some in the oven during the first hour of the tenderloin roasting (apple butter II from this site). My husband really liked this and he is not a pork or apple fan. Total cooking time was about 1 hr 45 mins and it was very tender at that point. Will make again.

I made it in a Pampered Chef stoneware bowl. It was pretty good the night I made it, but it was FANTASTIC on a sandwich for the next few days.

I used a 2.5 lb pork chop and only 1 1/2 juice. After putting on the sauce (after the first hour) I only cooked it for another 15 min and it came out very tender and moist. Other Modifications: Peach butter instead of Apple butter Apricot necter instead apple juice. We will definately will make this again.

Awesome delicious family meal with mashed potatoes. Put 1/2 t. nutmeg in the potatoes. I make this recipe with a crock pot. I roast the pork in the apple juice, drain the juice and use for gravy, then thinly slice the pork and pour the apple butter mixture over. Delicious.

I made this for a group of friends and was a little worried about the outcome as I didn't try it first. No worries! This is a great recipe and a keeper. I've since made for my family of 5 and everyone loves it. Haven't changed a thing!

Yum yum yum! The flavors in this are amazing! I used a pork loin (not tenderloin) thanks to the reviewers suggestions, and it was beautiful. Tender, delicious. Just the right amount of flavoring, and very easy.

This was really good! The only changes I made were that I used an apple green tea beverage (which is half apple juice) in place of the apple juice because I already had it and I made a second batch of the sauce after I tasted it. It was nice to have on hand when we reheated the leftovers the next day. Didn't need it really, but it was so good! Oh, I should mention that I marinated my two tenderloins in a brown sugar, apple butter and apple green tea mixture for 7 1/2 hours before cooking them as directed. Delicious! Easy and flavorful. Makes the house smell of autumn and holiday spices. I will be making this again... and definitely for guests. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.

Adjusting the cooking time is a must! This is great stuff IF you don't overdo it. It made the whole house smell great and even my husband (who HATES pork) loved this. Will definately be making on a regular basis from now on. Thx for the great recipe. :)

Not the easiest of clean up...but man was it worth it! Sweet and succulent pork, spiced just right! Great the next day as a pulled pork sandwhich. Difficult to figure out what to serve with a meat dish that is so sweet though.

Hi all, I'm the author of this recipe. Sorry for the confusion on the baking time. Believe it or not, I DO use tenderloin (oops on the title) and I DO bake it for the time I specified. I, however, like pork to be overcooked and completely falling apart in the juices. I should have specified that less time could be used. I aplogize; this was my first contribution to this site. Enjoy!

My fiance and I really enjoyed this recipe. I used loin chops and browned them in a pan before smothering them with the sauce and baking them. I adjusted baking time to about 40 min. Turned out great! Paired them with Cabbage Au Gratin, which I also recommend.

This was fantastic, not that it needs another review to say that. Made half the recipe, and two friends and I devoured the recipe in no time. It was the hit of my dinner party.

This pork was amazing!! Husband and kids loved it. You could cut it with a fork. I used a 5lb pork loin, and cut in half,so juices would penetrate better. Cooked in apple juice for 45 min, then drained 1/2 of juice and added other ingredients. Only cooked for another 1 1/2 hours, and it was sooo moist. Thank you!!! Will definitely be making again and again!!
