I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and it wasn't really a hit. People liked it, but I had a lot left over which I threw out because nobody wanted it. I probably wouldn't make this one again.

We all know what a slice of sharp cheddar cheese does for a piece of apple pie. Well...not this it certainly doesn't do much for the applesauce in this spread. Combination of flavor and texture ruined it for me. Sorry.

I work for a Cheese Farm and made this for my boss to try. He loved it and said it would make a great dessert spread! Instead of applesauce, I substitued 1/2c. locally made apple butter which actually has a cinnamon applesauce taste to it. All the other employees who tried it loved it too.

The taste of this was okay, but the texture ruined it for me and my guests...looked very lumpy and unappetizing. I won't make this one again!
