LOVE these! I received a large bag of apples that were "2nd's", bruised, etc.
I peeled and chopped the usable parts and made these bars. They were SO easy that I made 4 small pans for Pastor Apreciation Month. I also made myself a diabetic-friendly version using Splenda and whole wheat flour and they were fabulous as well. Not only do these taste great and have a wonderful texture, but the small number of ingredients (and the fact hat all ingredients are pantry staples)will make these a must have in my recipe binder!
