Excellent! I followed other reviewers advice and baked the bottom layer for 5-6 minutes. I recommend spaying some pam on the bottom of your baking dish to avoid sticking.

I made these for a SuperBowl party and they were a hit! Omitted the red peppers and adjusted the cooking time. My kids loved them too!

This is a great recipe. I fixed it for the Superbowl and everyone ranted and raved about it. I would not change a thing.

Very good, but I did have the same problem as other reviewers- soggy bottom crust. I will make again & maybe precook the bottom crust a little before I put everything on top.

oh my gosh... these are so good. Next time, I am going to cook the bottom layer of crescents first and then add the layers, and put back in the oven. The bottom was alittle doughy compared to the top.

Excellent! If you bake it on a stone at 375 the bottom turns out perfect.

This recipe was delicious. I brought it to a superbowl party and got so many compliments on it. It was practically all gone by the end. I was very afraid it was going to be soggy like everyone said, but it wasn't that bad because I cooked it on 375 instead of 350 and pat dried the peppers. I recommend this for a party, or gettogether. Its a great munchie, and good with pizza sause.

This was excellent. Didnt have a problem with it not cooking on the bottom, used a dark 9 x 13 pan sprayed with olive oil. Baked exactly as written.. Used cooked ham, salami, and swiss, and the roasted peppers. Will add the mozzerala and provolone next time. The egg batter didnt go far, so I used it all in the inside and then added one beaten egg with one Tablespoon of parm cheese for the top. It came out golden and puffed. Really nice!! let cool for about 25 minuted and then sliced perfectly. Nice for pot lucks and for company!!!

I made this. It was just ok. Would not add the roasted red pepper. That was too much. Not too many cared for it.

Don't forget to let it cool a full 15 minutes before cutting or serving. This helps keep the squares intact.

I have made this at least a dozen times. Its great. Always is eaten up at a party. I have used lower fat versions of cresent rolls, low fat salami, turkey peperoni, lean ham and low fat swiss and provalone. Also used egg beaters. Love it. Love it. Thanks so much for sharing this great recipe.

Unbelievably tasty, but soggy on the bottom. Tried the tips recommended by others but still came out soggy. I'd make it again though!

I thought the flavors were really good together, but that the bottom doesn't really get cooked enough. It is still a little on the doughy side. Next time, I may trying baking the dough first for before filling them.

I have made this recipe twice for parties - everyone really loved it - will make it again - the only issue I had was the bottom burned - we just peeled it off and ate it anyway - I am guessing it was the glass pan.

These are always a hit. I use banana pepper rings instead of the roasted red peppers just because I like the taste. And I give a squirt of Zesty Italian dressing before putting on the top crust. Yum, little handheld Italian subs!!

I have made this a couple of times now, and gotten rave reviews both times. In an effort to make this a little lighter, I have used reduced fat crescent rolls, reduced fat provolone and swiss cheeses, fat-free lunch meats (ham, turkey), and turkey pepperoni. Like other reviewers suggested, I baked the bottom crust for a few minutes (like 5-6 minutes) so that it wasn't soggy when it was finished. It's a keeper indeed!

this was sooooooo good... i made it with american cheese instead of swiss & i only used maybe 2 of the peppers cut into small pieces, rather than the whole jar.. because i dont like hot foods.. but it came out perfect!!! very easy to put together.. looks amazing when you take it out of the oven... & tastes even better!
