Fantastic!!! Took these to a gathering last night and everyone loved them. Took the suggestions of others and pre-baked by bottom crust for about 6 minutes and dried off the peppers. On one half of the squares I sprinkled on some chopped black olives, both w/and w/o where great. Thanks for the recipe!

All the appetizers I served at my party were a hit, but these were definitely the most popular. They are amazing. So easy to make and really delicious.

I just finished making/eating this YUMMO I was very pleased w the flavor and texture. I too baked the bottom for 6 minutes then applied all the ingrediants and baked uncovered for the full 20 minutes. The only change I made to the recipe was I brushed the bottom with garlic in olive oil. This is a great recipe thanks :)

I've made this many times in several different variations (I usually just throw in spinach instead of peppers.) The only thing bad about this recipe is the price of all the ingredients.

All I can say is FANTASTIC!!! I substituted the deli meats and used hickory smoked turkey breast, turkey pastrami and turkey pepperoni. I also used 2 eggs instead of 3. I did not experience a soggy bottom crust. It was firm and very tasty. My kids loved it and I will definitely add it to our monthly dinner menu. Thx Lori for sharing this recipe with us.

I used low sodium, ham, swiss and bacon smoked turkey as well as some hard salami. I made it for super bowl and it was a sucess. Served it warm. What was leftover made great lunches the next day.

I followed the directions to a tee, but added a few more Italian cold cuts. I guess I was expecting something amazing. Although the squares were tasty, I cannot give this recipe more than 3 stars. I'll look for another recipe.

Made this for our Steeler Superbowl Party this past Sunday. Everybody went crazy for these. My boyfriend said this was the best appetizer he's ever had. I do agree, you will have to pre-bake the lower crescent roll crust first. I only pre-baked it for 6 minutes but I should have even baked it longer since the middle part was a bit doughy but overall this was a big big hit!!

I've had these before and they were excellent, however I used some of the reviewers' suggestions and mine came out too dry, and not as tasty. I will try again following the recipe as is.

WOW! I made 5 platters of this amazing appetizer for a wedding of my mom's friend and she said that she didn't even get a chance to taste them, people were all over them! This is a very customizable recipe and I used a mexican blend of shredded cheese, and added paprika, oregano, and some other herbs and spices to the egg mixture for a little more flavor. This is very easy to make and makes amazing appetizers. Use any kind of meats and cheeses that you'd like and any kind of crescent roll brand/type that you'd like and it will always work well. A lot cheaper than buying pre-made appetizers at publix or Wal-mart super center hot-food deli. Next time I make them I'll be sure to add a picture.
