This was excellent and the kids loved it too. Very easy recipe for such a tasty dish. Will definitely make again. The only thing I changed was I used real bacon instead of bacon bits. Thank you

I love this recipe, I always have the ingredients on hand, I microwave 5 pieces of bacon, then crumble and I use low salt teryaki so it's not so salty

I'm eating the chicken right now, and it turned out really good! Mine looked like it had more sauce than some of the posted pictures, but the extra sauce is good to dip in. I used Moore's Teriyaki Wing sauce, which was thick, and Naturally Fresh ranch dressing. I'll be making this again!

This is definitely a favorite in our house. My boyfriend loves it! The sauce is amazing. I like frying up some pepper bacon opposed to the bacon bits, and I agree to wait until the last 15 minutes to put the cheese on the top. A must try!

Loved by all, however, I went to put the bottled ranch dressing on chicken and it was rotten smelling so I quickly made up ranch dressing from this site and the flavors were outrageous. Highly recommend both recipes.

I am giving this recipe 4 stars, but will say it may very well deserve 5. I made this last night and it was a hit. Only one small piece of chicken was left over. I only made one change to the recipe. I had no bacon bits, so I took about 8 slices of bacon, diced it up and fried it to just about crisp. The rest of the recipe left as is. I mixed the Teriyaki and Ranch together before spreading it on the chicken, and upon tasting it I was worried. It tasted as though the tastes did not blend well together. But I forged ahead and brushed it on the chicken and followed the recipe from there. My family loved it, and before I could say I was concerned about the sauce my husband said "This sauce is great!" I will say the sauce did have a better taste after it had been cooked then it did prior, but I still want to try this recipe again without the Teriyaki and just the Ranch, Bacon and Cheddar. So I gave it 4 stars. There are 5 of us in the family and 4 loved it, and I liked it. I do recommend using the real bacon though. I don't think I will ever use the bacon bits.

After the first bite my husband looked at me and said "This is the best thing you've ever made!" I did a couple things different...I mariniated the chicken in teriyaki for about an hour. Then I cooked the bacon and used the bacon grease to sautee the chicken. Although I may do this differently next time because the teriyaki burned a little bit. I sprinkled some garlic salt on the chicken before covering it with the ranch. I also waited until the last 10 minutes to add the cheese, bacon, and green onions. It turned out really good and I will definitely be making this one again.

My husband and son ate this but didn't say anything good or bad. For me it was just too many flavors and it left me wondering which direction the recipe was trying to go.

I read the ingredients in this and thought, "What..?" I was not a believer, but there were so many good reviews, I tried it anyway. And...it rocked. The second time I made it I didn't have any teriyaki and used BBQ sauce instead. It also turned out really good! Crowd pleaser and super easy to do.

This recipe should be renamed AMAZING chicken. I actually loaded my chicken into the crockpot and then added the rest of the ingredients. I served over white rice. It was a hit with my family, including my picky 5 year old. I did find it a bit too salty, but I believe that is due to my slow simmering for 5 hours. I will cut back on the teriyaki sauce a bit and the bacon bits. Regardless, it was still delicious and fall-apart-excellent served over the rice.

Oh, the smells in my kitchen is drawing crowds. I also ever so slowly saute an onion on the stove top in a little butter and pepper and throw that on top of the chicken for the last ten minutes.

This is a very tasty chicken dish. Did the recipe as is but didn't think it had enough flavor so I will add some seasoning next time. I didn't add anything extra because so many reviews said it was salty. I will add garlic, pepper next time for sure. Delicious with mashed potatoes. Next time I won't brown before because it was not needed.

I liked this dish. Was a bit too salty for my taste - even without the adding the bacon. Wonderful as leftovers the next day.

AMAZING. Entire family LOVED it. :) I used real bacon, cooked and crumbled. I also egg and floured the chicken before pan frying it in olive oil. Lastly, use Use Kikkoman Baste & Glaze...YUM!
