These were delicious, however, I did add an extra teaspoon of vanilla per the many recommendations. They turned out much better than when I followed the recipe exactly. I would call these the perfect chocolate chip cookie!

Awesome!! I work in construction often being the only girl on site. It can be hard at times but these cookies can soften any mans heart. They request them often!! I add M&Ms. Depending on the time of year I mix in the different colored ones to match the holiday...special colored M&Ms make for great holiday cookies!!!

Tried this last night. Fabulous recipe. I ran out of chocolate chips and ground up chocolate squares, which turned out waaaaay better than store bought chips. :-)

Very good. Made these last night for husband and friends and all enjoyed. I did follow the reviews though and preheated the oven to 325 and baked for 12 minutes. Turned out great though, and I will be making again.

These are the best chocolate chip cookies I've tried so far. I am still searching for that perfect cookie, though (which I may never find, because I am too picky!). I baked these at 350 for 12 minutes. They thin out a lot, which I actually like better than a thick, cakey cookie.

These cookies are AWESOME! My family loved them! I followed the advice of others and increased the vanilla to 2 tsp and decreased the salt to 1/2 tsp. I also baked the cookies at 350 until the edges were browned and let them sit on the baking sheets for about 10 minutes after removing them from the oven. Perfection! I'll never use another chocolate chip cookie recipe!!

I wish I could give these 4 1/2. Really good but not the best I've ever had/made. One thing I like about this recipe is you can get away with dirtying only one measuring cup; the 1/2 cup (and one measuring spoon too!)

I should not have made these....now I can't stop eating them! Made them just as recipe says, but used a 1/2 tsp salt, as someone had suggested and melted the butter as someone also suggested. Baked them at 325 for 10 min and they turned out really great - a chewy, somewhat cake-like texture for those of us that like them that way. I added little mini M&M's to mine instead of chocolate chips. Yummm!
