Very Good recipe. I had no experience with cookies baking and followed exactly on the recipe and instruction. The result was really good. My boyfriend brought the cookies to office and offered to the colleagues and everyone thought the cookies were from SUBWAY.

These are pretty good, much better than the last recipe that I tried. I didn't follow the recipe exactly as written as i didn't have all of the ingredients. I will give these another try.

These were a little too cake like for me and not sweet enough. The kids liked them though. I'm going to try agian with more white sugar. Maybe that will help.

THESE COOKIES ARE INCREDIBLE! My roommate and I make them about once a week. Mind you, you must know your oven well enough because you can't follow the heating instructions directly.

The only recipe I use now. I bake at 350 for 10 minutes. It works well to make dough ahead too and bake when convenient.

I just finished making these cookies and this recipe has become one of my new favorites for chocolate chip cookies. I followed the recipe as written and they turned out perfectly. I formed the dough into teaspoon size and the cookies are puffy and moist in the middle. My husband and kids LOVE them, I will definetly be using this recipe again, since I don't think that they'll last very long around here! Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Diaster. I was so excited fromm reading the reviews of this recipe. I followed the directions of the recipe exactly, except for the reviewers suggestions to chnage the temperature to 350 and half the amount of salt. They were flat as a pancake. I could literally look through them. Also I could not get them to bake properly. Either they were raw cookie dough, or burnt, dry crisps. My family, however, ate some of them out of loyalty.

As previously suggested by other posters, I: 1. baked the cookies at 325F and not 375F 2. did not add the full amount of salt (add half the amount called for in the recipe). 3. In addition, I added a little more brown sugar (1/2 teaspoon more and almost twice the amount of vanilia extract called for 4. I baked the cookies until they were golden brown around the edges. Not bad. I bake with a dark/nonstick pan which seems to heat things faster than a regular pan so putting it at 375F I knew would not do. If Indycook didn't suggest putting it at 325F, I would have passed this recipe by. This is why, I'm giving this 3 stars because if I had followed this to the letter, I would of ended up with salty hard cookies.

Yummy, they taste exactly like the Famous Amos cookies. However, I'm only giving it four stars as I felt that the recipe is a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time I'll add less sugar and chocolate chips.

These are really good. I did reduce the temperature and baked at 325 degree's. They were chewy in the middle and crispy around the edges. They baked perfectly.

This recipe was great! So quick and easy for delicious, homemade cookies! I had a hard time softening my hard brown sugar so I heated it up in the microwave with the butter and it ended up making my batter warm, which melted my chocolate chips when I added them in. My friends were mystified about how amazingly delicious my marbled chocolate cookies were.
