Once I found this recipe I stopped looking for chocolate chip cookie recipes.... it's the best... I love the consistency of the cookie... I used to always end up with flat crunchy disks.... not with this recipe.... it's awesome!

I thought this recipe was very tasty. I read other reviews that the cookies weren't sweet enough. I added some extra sugar and brown sugar. I also refrigerated the cookie dough. They came out perfect, but I had to make the alterations.

I have tried alot of different recipes, and these just didnt turn out like I expected. My husband said that they were too doughy. They were still good enough to eat though.

Ok i tried this, and followed the recipe but made some changes according to other reviewers (decrease flour and salt and sugar)and the batter looked just as it was supposed to..except when i added the milk it just became too runny mess so in short..DON'T ADD MILK!!

What a great recipe! I followed it to a "t" and the cookies came out perfect! The only thing I did, not metioned was I cooled the batter for about 30 mins before baking and chilled my cookie trays before putting another batch on them. Soo tasty, we've already eaten a dozen and the last few are still waiting to be baked! Hee hee! Will use this one again and again. Single and tasty, what a great recipe should be.

Iv'e made these cookies at least 20 times and every time they come out great. I add some cinnamon to it because cinnamon and chocolate taste absolutely fab together and everyone loves them. My husband is always trying to get me to make them.

Fabulous and extremely easy recipe to follow. To those who rated the recipe low, I agree with another member-you may want to explore other avenues of food preperation. This chocolate chip recipe was soft, gooey, and incredible yummy. sher

Excellent! I picked this recipe because I wanted minimal, REAL ingredients (unlike a lot of recipes on this site which call for fake ingredients like crisco and vanilla pudding mix.) They were simple to make and very tasty. I did, as several reviewers suggested, reduce the salt by 1/2 tsp and I left out about 1/2 cup of the flour called for. They turned out perfect!

I LOVE these cookies. They are so easy and taste great. I have tried them with semi sweet chips and milk chocolate and they are both wonderful.

I always get requests for this recipe! Instead of 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips, I take 1 cup of milk chocolate, 1/2 cup of dark chocolate and 1/2 cup of white chocolate and coarsely chop it myself. I also cook it for 8 minutes only (until they hold their shape but are not brown) and put them on a cooling rack.
