This is very good. I love the anise flavor. Only complaint--and maybe it's something I did and will have to try it again to see--is that the loaf fell in the middle. Otherwise, love the almond and anise flavor together and the texture was great. Thanks!

i love this bread it is like a cake kinda and toasts well for breakfast...tho i used unsalted butter coz that is what i had...but i recommend it...i think it is VERY GOOD...have one in the bread maker now...just didn't review it before...thanks

Whoever rated this 3 out of 5 probably doesn't like the anise flavor. My husband tried it. He liked it so much he ate the whole loaf. I will be making this a lot.
