Excellent dish. I did not have pesto sauce so just add basil instead, worked great! Next time I will change to a different type of pasta. Maybe bow tie or shells.

Very good. I left out the broccoli because it just didn't appeal to me in this particular recipe. I used my own home made pesto and the sauce was delicious. I will definately make this again.

Delicious! I used light cream instead of heavy cream with very flavorful results. I'll definately make this again.

I wouldn't call this "quick" but it is a very tasty dish and worthy of the time to prepare. My 22 year old son wanted to try it and we even prepared it together. We cut the broccoli into smaller pieces since he's not the biggest broccoli fan, and we combined the sauce with shrimp/broccoli and then spooned it over the pasta. It was elegant.

Delicious. Broccoli added perfect complement to shrimp. Increased pesto to 2 Tbsp and milk to 1 2/3 cups.

This was very tasty. My whole family enjoyed this from my 16 month old & 6 year old (who just ate the pasta and sauce) to my husband who had seconds. I did not have pesto but I did add a little bit of basil to try to bring that flavor to the dish. I used fresh broccoli and cooked it in the microwave - much easier. I will save this recipe and make it many times again. Thanks!

This dish was so easy to make. I set up all the quantities in prep bowls prior to cooking. It all went together very quickly. My 16yr old son had seconds and ate all the leftovers. This recipe is definately a keeper. (The only set back was all the cookware I used in preparation...cleaning up is not a favorite of mine.)

So good, I'm craving more! I followed everything pretty much except I didn't use the pesto, I didn't have any on hand and don't think I missed it. I also at least doubled the garlic amounts as we love our garlic too. I always double the sauce recipes on anything I make since we are all sauce eaters and don't like dry food, and I'm glad I did, it was just enough. Boy, is this ever good and you can change out the shrimp or broccoli for other things very easily as well. This is easy and great enough for entertaining.

I made this recipe for my husband and our friends and they all though it was great! Only 2 things I would have changed.. 1) cooked the noodles closer to the time we were going to eat them, they were all sticky and 2) I would cook the sauce a little less, it wouldn't be so sticky if it wasn't so thick. Otherwise it was great!! The shrimp is awesome!!!

EXCELLENT!!! Thanx Robbie! The second time around (it was so good the first time)Doubled the sauce, dumped the broccoli (not a huge fan), decreased the pesto, (rather strong) and used the left-over sauce with pasta. A great seafood side dish

This recipe was terrible. I dirtied every pan in my kitchen and spent a small fortune. It was soooooo BLAND. I need more flavor. Try Cajun Chx Pasta instead.

Pretty good. Tasted like a nice alfredo pasta dish. The sauce thickened rather quickly though. For the portion we didn't eat right away, I thinned out the sauce by mixing some chicken broth and olive oil into the sauce; tasted rather nice.

Excellent. I used a couple dashes of cayanne pepper in place of the hot sauce, and it worked great. I'd suggest fresh broccoli too, if you have the time.

Made this for Valentines Day dinner and it was good. Very rich. Took others suggestions and doubled the sauce--good thing i did or it would of been a tad dry--the sauce is what makes this recipe. I wouldn't recommend using any other pasta w/ this dish as you need something very light and not heavy so don't substitute here. This is a very filling dish so just a light tossed salad is enough to go with it.

This is a great recipe, no complaints about that. I even substituted fat free evaporated milk for the cream to lighten it up a bit, and it was still tasty. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took several pans to get this dish going, and I would increase the amount of broccoli next time.

This was a fabulous and EASY recipe! To make it quicker I did some of the prep work earlier in the afternoon... like the broccoli. I steamed it and put it in the fridge until needed. The only thing I would suggest is to NOT toss the broccoli and shrimp with the pasta, but to serve it over the pasta and then add the sauce. I think it would be a prettier presentation. Also - we live overseas and can't get pesto so I just added a TBS of dried basil instead and it still turned out GREAT! Definitely a do-over for me!

The sauce was great! My hubby (a very picky eater) and guests loved it. Thanks to the other readers for ideas on how to vary this dish. I must try the pepper flakes and other veggies.
