Loved it!!! My family loved it too. Very easy to make. Excellent with a couple of splashes of Franks red hot sauce on your serving. yum yum :)

Very easy, with ingredients that we usually have on hand. I made it the night before and baked it in the morning. I like that it doesn't take as long as the others to bake. Very tasty and satisfying.

This casserole is the greatest!! The only adjustments I made was to use 2lb. of Bob Evans Sage Sausage, and I sprinkled about 1 cup of extra cheddar cheese on top before baking. Awesome!

Terrific! Add more eggs, if you want, up to a dozen if you don't want to double the recipe. You can replace cottage cheese with sour cream, but the flavor should stay around the same. You also can replace Swiss cheese with any other similar cheese you have available.

I didn't include the onion because my husband and I aren't to partial to it, but I thought that this was the best breakfast casserole I've ever had. Really great!

I'm not much into breakfast food, but when a family friend passed away unexpectedly, I wanted to send more than just a spaghetti dish or something. I thought a nice breakfast casserole would be a nice, protein-filled morning dish for the family instead of a dinner dish or a cereal-or doughnut breakfast. The family absolutely loved it, and I've made it for my parents/family every once in a while even though I don't eat it. It's a huge hit every time and easy to make. I usually do half sausage and half bacon, and add green peppers and broccoli, and offer sour cream to top it with. Thank you so much for this recipe, and my family thanks you too!

This was a huge hit! I made it with sausage instead of bacon. I took it to a Mom's group, and it was polished off in no time!

I followed this recipe almost exactly except I added diced green pepper. It was good, but I just have to say it wasn't worth the calories. Something this fatty really should taste a whole lot better.

I tried this with sausage, and then with bacon. The bacon was the winner. I used frozen hashbrowns with peppers and my husband said that the sweetness of the peppers took away from the cheese blend. This is a winner.

Very satisfying! I'm not a breakfast eater but my husband is. We both liked it and even enjoyed leftovers. I used sage sausage and garlic powder. I can see myself using this as a base recipe and doing lots of different variations. Such as, adding a can of Rotel.

Big thumbs up from my family. Nice alternative to the mushroom soup soaked white bread casserole that my in-laws favor. My variation: I used a frozen onion seasoning mix instead of an onion, mixed 1/4 lb chorizo with 3/4 lb breakfast sausage. Also, added Penzey's Foxpoint seasoning, so it had a nice layer of other flavoring. Enjoyed it.

This is an excellent breakfast casserole. Used Jimmy Deans Hot Sausage, instead of bacon, just because we love sausage. Will try with bacon the next time I make this, and there definately will be a next time. Leftovers taste great, and heat nicely in the microwave.

i really liked this dish..i think the only thing that i will try next time is use less swiss..maybe try pepperjack to give some sass..my family thought it to be just a tad bland..other than that cant wait to try it again!

Really good! Will definately make again. I cut down on the bacon and added cubed ham - also used 2% cheddar - I mixed everything the night before, refridgerated it, and cooked it the next morning. It did need a longer cooking time, probably closer to 55 minutes.
