This is an awesome recipe--I followed it exactly as written. I made the day before and cooked at 375 for 45 minutes covered and 20 minutes uncovered. A great meal to make on the weekends and enjoy during the busy week! Thanks so much for sharing it!

This was good. A bit bland for my taste. Next time I will use more spices.

This was ok. The flavors were overwhelming and even worse the next day. I think all the spices..etc should be cut in half.

This is now my absolute go-to recipe... I make it all the time for my family and friends. I make several revisions and have perfected it to our taste. I add more garlic, basil and brown sugar and I add an 8 oz can of tomato sauce. I usually use a lean ground beef, but have used turkey and a beef/turkey combo. You will NOT be disappointed!

The sauce is excellent. I am now using it in all my pasta dishes. The lasagna was not good. It was turned out dry and something horrible happened to the noodles. They were very chewy. I guess I did something wrong, I just don't know what!

VERY GOOD! I MADE USING GROUND TURKEY. I MADE 1 1/2 TIMES THE RECCOMENDED AMOUNT OF SAUCE AND IT WAS JUST ENOUGH.

I just give it 4* 'cause i made lots of changes. I did make it yesterday (didn't bake it till today) and put in the fridge overnight to let the flavors combine all together. Added 1 cup chopped "jamón serrano" (cured ham??) to the ground meat, 2 extra minced garlic cloves, cayenne pepper and canned mushrooms. Since i couldn't find tomato paste here in my city, i used 1 can (for about 20 ounces) pureed tomato. Also covered the noodles with cooked ham and used light cottage cheese instead of ricotta, which i mixed with spinach (omitted the eggs). And the best of all, topped with garlic bechamel sauce (2 tablespoons flour, 2 cloves of garlic minced, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt and white pepper to taste, and milk) and sprinkled cheese over it.....voilá!! even my mom raved about it (she's not a big lasagna fan)!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! of course, i will be making this again.

One of my all time favorite recipes, I've won three pot lucks with this lasagna. Perfect the way it is, although I always top with mozzarella since the sauce does dry out on top. And if I'm feeling really creative I will use half ground beef and half italian sausage which adds terrific flavor. You can't go wrong with this recipe!

This was excellent! I loved the fact that I could make this and put it in the fridge and cook at a later time. Great for working families. I also added one extra can of diced tomatoes and didn't drain it..also added red wine. When I took out of the fridge to cook, I also cooked for about 45 mins covered w/ tin foil, then uncovered for about another 20 mins and it was perfect.

Great recipe. Had a Superbowl party last night for my husband and 13 of his friends. Made a double recipe and not a bite remained. Even after 4 pizzas, 2 veggie trays and other assorted food. Definitely make more sauce or add a jar of prepared sauce or it will be too dry. I plan to try it with different amounts of suace to get the perfect amount. Easy to put together too.
