Fabulous!! I agree that you will need to at least triple the honey and teriyaki. I also added 1 tsp of minced ginger. I found that the sesame seeds didn't really stick to the chicken so I might just added them at the end. Also, I would add the honey and teriyaki to the pan first to mix together before adding the chicken. Really tasty!

This one gets all the stars in the night sky! I'll be making it again for an upcoming birthday. I didn't double the sauce, but rather used less chicken (4 large chicken breasts). Followed the recipe exactly and the chicken was very moist and tender. PERFECT!

Loved this recipe. I have never made sesame chicken before, but will be from now on. My husband and son really liked it, they even liked the green pepper, something they usually won't touch. The only changes I made were using a store bought teriyaki and I didn't have the red pepper so used just the slightest bit of cayenne. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. I did double the sauce as some suggested. Thanks for a great recipe!

My family, and I thought this was very good home-made version! I made a few changes to the recipe, though, to suit my family's tastes: 1) I used less chicken (3 fresh chicken breasts), so there will be more sauce. (Note:If you make more chicken, as recommended in recipe, it will soak up the sauce. If you like for the chicken dish to be more saucy, I recommend you double the sauce.) 2) I mixed the honey and terryaki sauce together, so the flavors blend well, before adding it to the chicken. 3) I added alittle brown sugar, to make it slightly sweeter. (Note:The seseme chicken they make at resturants, are more sweet than this recipe calls for.) 4) I omitted the vegetables, because my husband dont like them. (Note: To add or omit the veggies, its up to you; based on personal preferences.) The chicken tastes great, either way. Chicken tastes great with or without white rice. Over-all, this recipe is the closest substitute I found, for the sesame chicken you enjoy, in Chinese resturants. Its good and will satisfy you!

It was okay...he liked it. That's all that matters. A little dry though. There was no glaze like how everyone else had theirs. I will have to try again soon, since it's his favorite Chinese dish.

This was pretty good. I cooked only the chicken; Nothing else. It seemed a little bland, but that could have been my own fault. I am not the greatest cook! I will make again though. It was pretty tasty.

Very delicious! Whipped it up w/ no trouble whatsoever... Used Trader Joe's Soyaki sauce and TJ's 5-spice - quite a tasty result. I'm thinking of trying it with a bit of ginger next time around.

This was really tasty with steamed snow peas (in the pod) in replace of the green pepper (use two packages from the frozen section at the store). I didn't double the sauce per other reviews, but added a little more honey. I also added some garlic salt to the flour mixture. The chicken would have been too bland without it. I will definitely make this again.

Great recipe! I used fresh ginger instead of the 5 spice and I didn't have chicken so I used shrimp. Delicious! I can't wait to make it again.

YUM! I love this recipe. I suggest cooking the chicken first, place it on a plate, while you are cooking the veggies, drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the chicken only. After veggies are done Add the chicken. That way the veggies still get the teriyaki flavor but it doesnt turn them brown.

Good but not great. I was hoping this was more like what we get from our favorite take out but it wasn't. Will keep searching! :) Good try though!
