VERY GOOD!!! This was the first broccoli salad I've ever made and it tasted great. I'm not a big fan of broccoli salads so I'm so glad to have found this recipe. TMJ got in the way of all the chewing. :(

I love this salad - there are many variations of broccoli salad but this is my favorite one.

This is great dish to take to a BBQ! I always get wonderful comments when I make this! I omit the bacon and add craisins instead of raisins and add a tiny bit of shredded sharp cheese. Love the colors! Thank you for the recipe!

Made this for a potluck and it was a hit! I used Craisins instead of raisins and Oscar Mayer real bacon bits instead of bacon.

I can't give it less than 5 stars. Hubby declared it "delectable". Easy to prepare - left the bacon out until just before serving, but next time will use less mayonnaise. I didn't use all of the dressing.

Yum-O! I didn't grow up with broccoli salad, had only had it about twice in my life prior to making this. It was delicious. I made it for a family dinner and a 4th of July party. Each time I was asked for the recipe. This recipe is a keeper!

Made this for a shower and added spiral noodles, red grapes, and shredded cheese. Used another reviewers advice of frozen broc and it turned out pretty good but next time I am going to try fresh broc. It was a big hit at a recent baby shower I hosted.

Well I completely changed this recipe because I'm on a diet, but it was an awesome recipe for me to use as a go-by. One day when I'm done dieting I'll try the original because I'm sure it's way better! In case anyone's curious, the substitutions I used were turkey bacon, craisins, Splenda, and organic low-fat plain yogurt (in place of the mayo). I left in the broccoli, red onion, and vinegar and I skipped the sunflower seeds. Not bad at all and saved much fat and calories. Can't wait until I can try the real thing!

I have been making this recipe for years...ever since someone brought it to a potluck...I have never met anyone who didnot like it...I amke it exactly as the recipe calls for, except I use plain white vinegar... If you subsitute grapes, as some have done, it is not the same at all...it really needs the raisins...and sunflower seeds...that is what makes it so tasty...for non meat eaters, I don't think it would hurt it any to leave out the bacon. I don't understand how people can change the recipe and then bash it...in my opinion, if you don't make the recipe as written, then you should not say the recipe is bad, cuz you haven't tried the recipe...you have concocted your own recipe...which didn't turn out... Try this as written first...and then if you want to change it, do whatever you like...but if you do it exactly as written, I bet you are going to like it!!!

I used grapes - other than that, a great summer salad that can almost be used as a main dish.

I made this for a party of 35 people and had nothing but rave reviews. I made two changes to the recipe: I added extra broccoli and cut the amount of sunflower seeds in half. It was fantastic. By request, I've already shared the recipe with friends.

I make this recipe all the time. I used toasted sliced almonds, craisins, a little less sugar, and probably double the bacon. I also add black pepper to this recipe and use whatever vinegar I have on hand. They all work (well, I don't know about balsamic--never tried that one), but you might need to cut down the sugar if you are using a sweeter vinegar like rice wine.

This is a great salad! I often make it for BBQs. I've altered it slightly by using Apple Cidar vinegar instead of white wine. A great short cut for the bacon is to use pre-packaged low sodium real bacon pieces.

Very tasty. I leave out the onions because the kids aren't much of a fan of those. I also add 1/4 C of cheddar cheese.

I followed this recipe to a 't' and it was amazing! I could see why it received the reviews that it did. All the ingredients come together in a magnificent, delicious way. Will make again and again, especially during the warmer months.
