DELICIOUS!!! Substituted halved grapes as other reviewers suggested (and doubled the amount as well). Also used a packet of splenda instead of sugar. A fabulous combo of sweet and savory and crunchy. Loved this recipe!!! Will DEFINITELY be making this again!

Thought this was good. I didn't add the sunflower seeds because I didn't have them on hand. Also, used frozen broccoli and just barely cooked it (basically defrosted it in micro). Would use frozen again in a pinch but fresh is always better in this case.

I changed this a bit - and hate reviewing recipes after altering, but the base (broccoli and dressing) is great so I'm breaking my rule. I blanched the broccoli which retains the bright green color while keeping it nice and crunchy, and takes away any of that weird aftertaste it can have when eaten raw. I used craisins to add a little color and liked them much better than raisins. Didn't add the bacon and didn't miss it. Finally, used champagne vinegar and thought it was lovely.

If you don't care about fat grams, this is a fantastic dish. I used low fat mayo and halved green grapes in place of the raisins. Used red wine vinigar as that is what i had on hand. Absolutely delicious! (just don't read the nutritional information and tell yourself that your eating brocolli so it must be good for you)!

I used golden raisins and it turned out GREAT!! The mix of sweet from the raisins and tangy from the vinegar was perfect. I will definitely make it again.

Yum, yum, yum! I used craisins b/c that is all I had on hand, and it turned out great. I think letting it sit overnight really helps too. My guests loved it!

I love this recipe so much that I add it to our menu twice a month. Although this recipe is PERFECTION on it's own, I usually substitute a red onion and splenda, in addition I often add a dollop of greek or plain yogurt to the dressing. My husband is a body builder, so he likes his meals hearty and usually salads are more of a side dish. However, once you add some grilled chicken or breaded chicken strips this becomes a hearty meal for all the big eaters in the family. This is a huge hit with the whole family!!

I used low fat Hellmans mayo, and cut bacon in 1/2 to reduce fat, and it was still fabulous. Thanks!

Yum, this is so good! I used low fat mayo and Splenda. Also used halved grapes instead of raisins just because we don't like raisins and omitted the sunflower seeds cuz I didn't have any. It was so good! A refreshing salsd and nice change from potato or macaroni. Thanks for sharing!

This is a great recipe that you can customize to meet your needs. I leave out the bacon, because frankly it's not the healthiest thing to put in a salad. A nice alternative would be to have the salad plain with grilled/baked chicken on the side. That alone makes a great meal. I added shredded carrot for a dash of color and I use red seedless grapes instead of raisins. Initially, I used half cup sour cream and half cup mayo for the dressing. I may consider using plain yogurt instead next time to cut down the fat even further. This is a great recipe for all occasions. It's great for potlucks and picnics. I personally like to make this so I have lunch/dinner premade for 2-3 days.
