I have been cooking from this website for several years and this is the first review I have done. I went to a local restaurant for lunch and they had broccoli salad and I wanted to make this for my family for dinner and this is the recipe I used. my family told me that this is totally a remake. We really enjoyed your recipe and thank you for posting. The only thing we did different was we used currant instead of raisins.

A great classic recipe...Have been eating similar salads for years at potlucks, but never made it until today. Really easy and really yummy! Thanks!

It was good. Will maybe try fewer sunflower seeds next time, and maybe the real bacon bits in the package next time instead of making my own.

This recipe was so delicious my 11 yr. old daughter was eating the left overs with her fingers in the car on the way home from our get together.

Perfect mix of flavors. I use dried cherries or craisins in place of raisins.

Very tasty! Took to work for buffet and came home with empty container - that tells the tale. Make it and enjoy it.

Super tasty, and SO easy to make. Definitely is going to become a go-to salad in our house. The only changes I made were to add Pecans instead of Sunflower Seeds (had pecans handy) and craisins instead of raisins...again...had the craisins on hand. I also added some black pepper. DELICIOUS! Even the husband liked it, and that's saying a lot because he's not much of a salad guy.

Great recipe! The flavors worked together very well and the longer it set together, the better it got! I did leave out the raisins, which was just a personal preference. Will definitely make again!

YUM!!! There were a number of us that could not stop eating it! I cooked my bacon in the microwave between two paper towels until crisp. I also used red wine vinegar, because that's what I had. I do think I could have used a bigger head of broccoli though as the sauce was pretty thick and could have spread a bit more. Definitely a keeper recipe!

Oh so good! This is my favorite summer salad! I have made it at least 5 times in the last month. I also add shredded coleslaw mix with carrots(about half a small bag) to add a bit more veggies and omit the raw onion.
