DELICIOUS. I added 3 Italian sausages (chop/grind well, it should mix evenly with the beef) and the meat was perfect. I also added a lot of spices (basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, pepper, salt) to taste. I sauteed 5 tbs garlic with 1/2 tsp of the above spices and the onions. When the meat was thoroughly cooked I added the garlic mix.
For the sauce I used 16 oz spaghetti sauce, 5 oz tomato paste, and 8 oz spaghetti and basil sauce. I added the meat mixture to the sauce and then added herbs to taste.
I used cooked lasagna noodles and topped with a parmesan/mozzarella mix. Fabulous. I think the lasagna would have tasted like frozen lasanga without the sausages, herbs, and basil sauce.
