RAVE reviews for this. I made 1 minor change, 1 lb ground beef + 1/2 lb italian sausage. The first time I made this my husband came in from the garage and said "What are you making!?!? It smells sooo good!' He loved it! Its my stand by lasagna recipe and one Im always confident to serve for guests. I need a few extra noodles to fill a 9X13 pan.

What an awesome lasagne recipe! I did make a few changes. I used 32 ounces of spaghetti sauce instead of 28 (and had just enough). I also used 1 lb ground beef and 1/2 lb mild Italian sausage. I used fresh mozzarella and left the provolone in slices. My husband thought it was the best lasagne I ever made. My kitchen smelled like an Italian Restaurant. Thanks so much Alysia! I can't wait to eat the leftovers for lunch!

I love this lasagna recipe. Easy and flavorful. I do mix in some extra herbs (basil, oregano, pepper) and parmesan into the cheese mixture.

I've been using this recipes for years now, and I LOVE IT!! I haven't changed anything, except now I use the noodles you don't have to boil. And I mince the garlic, and onions pretty well.

This was great! I made it two weeks ago and my family is already asking me to make it again! I only made one ingredient change and that was to use sauce without sausage flavoring. I also opted to mix all the cheeses together and make one layer out of them. It was awesome!

This was my first lasagna and it turned out beautifully! I made only one change: I was totally out of oregano so substituted it for majorim. Will definitely make this again.

This lasagna is so good! I've been making this for a few years now, and always have forgotten to review it. The only thing I changes I make is to add 1 lb. of regular ground beef and then 1 lb. of pork sausage. its really good that way. I also used sliced provolone and layer with the slices seperately from the mozzarella. Everything else I make the same way pretty much. This is a keeper!

This lasagna is yummmmmmie!! I made it last night and my guests raved about it. I made a few changes. Instead of the 1 and 1/2 lbs of beef, I used 1 lb beef and 1 lb italian sausage. I used 2 jars of 24 oz sausage flavored sphagetti sauce AND 1 8 oz can of tomato sauce. I think next time I will add a second 8 oz can of tomato sauce to make a bit saucier. The final change was that I used an 8 oz package of mixed shredded Italian cheeses because I could not find shredded provolone by itself. It turned out delicious!! Thank you for this fabulous recipe!

Very good! We're more of a seasoning fanatic so we added a can of italian style diced tomatoes, and used romano parmesan spaghetti sauce and a touch of salt, and added pepperoni to the top layer for a kick. Otherwise, this is the best I've ever made!! Thanks!

Great & easy to follow!!! Pretty cheap for all the stuff you need. I think mine cooked a bit longer...about 15min. My changes: 1. I used turkey meat instead (NO taste difference)I have used a 1 1/2 lbs of meat before, just so its a bit heartier. 2. i used the no-bake noodles (saved time) 3. I didn't have any provolone, so i didn't use any!

Excellent recipe! *TIP* For storing lasagna, in case you don't know already do NOT put it in the fridge covered with foil! The tomato sauce will devour the aluminum and absorb into the food. Use plastic wrap or some other plastic material. And if you cooked it in an aluminum pan, take it out and put it in something else before refridgerating! It doesn't take long for tomato based sauces like spaghetti sauce to eat away at that aluminum!! Thanks for the recipe!
