I didn't care for this recipe at all. You REALLY have to like the pinapple whith chicken flavor to enjoy it. I won't make it again.

Very tasty, but I would limit basting time to 15 minutes and cook time to 30. Mine started to burn in the second basting. But very good!

The only recipe on this site that we haven't loved. This was the worst thing I ever put in my mouth. We threw it out, then went out to dinner. With all the bad reviews, how did this get such a high overall rating?

Cooking times are off--chicken was tough! And the ketchup and soy sauce mixture yielded a taste that was way too strong. Wouldn't recommend it!

I thought the recipe was great except I would have to agree with other's it was a bit salty I think by cutting out the garlic salt and adding garlic powder or minced garlic would take away that over bearing salt taste.

Not the easiest dish in the world, but, MAN!, the taste! You'll eat the leftover days after the chicken is long-since disappeared.

This recipe was way too salty. We hated it, all you tasted was the salt. I ended up throwing it away. Would not make again.

This recipe yields a large amount of the sauce the chicken cooks in. I recommend doubling the chicken amount, at least, to balance the dish out. It was a hit in my house when served over white rice.

Blechhh! I wish I had read the reviews before starting to make this one. As I was assembling the ingredients I started to have a bad vibe about it, but thought what the heck. Too much gaslic powder, a CUP of ketchup?? My God, what a mess. NEVER AGAIN.

I love the taste of pineapples with chicken. It's a good & tasty recipe. My husband who doesn't like chicken ate it all up and said it was good.

This recipie has WAY too much garlic salt. I wouldn't use more than a teaspoon or even use garlic powder since soy sauce has it's own salt.

In the future I would use less ketchup, salt, and slightly less vinegar. I prefer more "sweet" than sour. But my husband liked it as it was, which is a good thing!

I used breasts with the bone on and unfortunately, I think I overcooked it. It was "good" but I thought it tasted dry.

WOW! Where was my mind when I was adding ALL that salt? I don't want to be rude, but all I could taste was the salt. I think it could be a good dish if 80% of the salt was cut back. Thank You, Linda

Very good recipe. I left my chicken breasts whole and they were a little on the dry side. I would cut it up as the recipe indicates.
