I am just giving this a four star because I felt that it needed some seasoning, other than that, it was a great recipe! I cut my chicken into smaller pieces instead. For the dredging, I mixed 1 cup of flour, about 2 tablespoons seasoning salt, 1 tsp. paprika and some black pepper. I also used peanut oil instead to fry the chicken so that the oil didn't burn. To the sauce, I did as other reviewers suggested and added red pepper & also added about 2 tablespoons of soy sauce cause I felt like this recipe had too much sweet in it. I think next time I will try making the chicken grilled instead of fried. It was really good, but like I said, it needed spice! I will definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe Jenny!!

This was fabulous. I read reviews and decided to saute some peppers and onions on the side. I didn't mix it in because I have picky eaters. I also made extra sauce, that was what REALLY made the dish. My mother-in-law plans to make this for her card group. Thanks for sharing!

Not bad. I added a little chili powder, not having pepper flakes on hand, and also garlic; as written this recipe is definitely bland and sweet. I agree that the sauce is a little scanty.

Doubled the sauce, could have tripled it. Halved the chicken and cubed it before cooking. Grilled the pineapple first on wooden skewers. Added red pepper flakes to sauce. Pretty good, sauce wasn't as spicy as I would have liked but still a good dish.

This is awesome, I made it alittle more kid friendly by cutting up the chicken first then putting it in the flour and cooking it. We have also done it with just stirfrying the chicken, alittle healthier minus the flour and oil. Still great tasting and a big hit.

Thanks, but no thanks. I normally do well with the mix of fruit in non-traditional foods--how ever I found this to be offensive in taste. Even my kids didn't like it and they just about eat anything. It lacked flavor and if it was any, it was overpowered by the extreme sweetness of the pineapple and the teriyaki sauce. The measurements are not very forgiving either. If this still sounds like a dish you'd like to try--don't listen to me I'm just giving my account, I just suggest to double or triple the sauce if serving over noodles or rice.

I loved this recipe but I would recommend to make a lot more sauce, I made a lot more than what was called for but it still wasn't enough!

My family loved this. I did not care for it. I thought there would be more of a burst of flavor in my mouth.

This was quick and easy. I added a little red pepper to give it a little more flavor. The kids ate it and hubby thought it was "ok" so it will make the rotation again.

This is a great dish. I double and sometimes triple the sauce and i add lot's of peppers to mine red green and yellow. it is the most requested dish at my house.

Pretty good. I didn't read the pineapple sizes correctly and added 2 20-ounce cans of pineapple. It still turned out good. I did end up having to add more teriyaki and some soy sauce to increase the liquid as well as doubling the pineapple juice.

This is a favorite of my two guy roommates. I add red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit (per another review) and also use the crushed pineapple rather than chunks.

This was a really yummy meal, and very different from the same old chicken recipes. I doubled the sauce, added red pepper flakes to the chicken, and cut up the chicken into bite sized peices. The only thing I might change next time is a little less honey.

Was very good, but with a few tweaks for our taste. I doubled the sauce but it was a bit too sweet, so I added an extra T. of Teriyaki sauce (which would make 3 after doubling)and a T. of soy sauce (and I splashed some extra on at the table). I also cut the chicken up before flouring and cooking (per another reviewer) and added extra pineapple. The kids and I loved it! Unfortunately for us my husband still thought it was too sweet (He has a thing against sweet foods at dinner) :). That is the only reason I won't be putting it in the weekly rotation! Thanks for posting.
