Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F ( 175 degrees C ).
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and sugar, add almond extract and eggs; mix until well combined. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, place on a cookie sheet, and place an almond slice on to top of each one. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown.
