Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3/4 cup cold butter or margarine
  • 1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 6 bars (1 3/16-ounce) milk chocolate-covered English toffee candy bars, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees F for glass dish). In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.
  2. In large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg and extract; mix well. Stir in toffee pieces and almonds.
  3. Spread mixture evenly over prepared crust. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
