This was not good at all. Followed the recipe exactly and it was dry and the flavor was overpowering and very odd, absoltely nothing like Rice a Roni or any other rice we've enjoyed. I'd give it zero stars but apparently I have to rate at least 1.

I threw all the spices and nuts into a small Ball jar, put on a lid and shook away. It smells A-MAZ-ING. I did add four small packets of TrueLemon (crystalized dried lemon juice, you can find it at most grocery stores). This reminds me a lot of chicken Rice-A-Roni, only less chemical tasting. I don't really care for Rice-A-Roni but I still enjoyed it. My three men LOVED it, and my little boys had seconds. There were no leftovers. I'll make this for them often.

Yummy, yummy. Much better (tasting and healthwise too) than boxed rice mixes. I made mine with brown rice and it was delicious. Thank you for sharing.

Easy and delicious. My daughter is not usually too fond of rice, but she had seconds as a snack later that evening. It's great that there is more of the seasoning mix left for the next batches. Thanks!
