This was a good recipe..although I was hoping for it to be a touch sweeter.

I modified this recipe a little. Instead of 1/4 cup honey, I added 1/3 cup and reduced the margarine from 2 tablespoons to 1. I also added 3 tsp coffee which gave it a lovely aroma and a deeper colour - I recomend this! Only proplem with this recipe is that the ingredients stipulated make a medium size loaf. For my hungry lot, I'd like a 1.5kg loaf, so I'll have to play around with amounts. Really, really good recipe 10/10.

Worked beautifully in my machine. Rose well, stayed fresh, not too crumbly. This may be our new everyday bread. I did have to add an extra T of water at five minutes but I attribute that to weather, not a recipe flaw.

Couldnt really taste the honey but it was still a bit hit. I think i will try experimenting with a bit more honey.

I have a 1 1/2lb bread machine so I had to scale the recipe down to 12 servings. I think I expected a little too much from this bread. It wasn't bad but just didn't have as much flavor as I expected. One change was that I found I had to add a little extra water while it was mixing.
