I did not have almond milk. What I did was use 1% milk and add a teaspoon each of almond and vanilla extracts. I served each bowl with a float of milk on top over the topping. My kids and I thought this was delicious. Between the three of us, we ate it all. I'll make this again.

Great way to start the day and not to mention tasty! I cut back on the serving size and since I didn't have Silk on hand I used milk and added some vanilla. I also added a dash of nutmeg, a little brown sugar for a touch of sweetness and some dried cranberries.

Excellent way to make oatmeal. I use steelcut oatmeal so you need to cook that for 30 minutes. I use Silk Pure Almond Original for all my cereals and love that. This is so nice and creamy and then that nice toasted topping. The cinnamon/almonds are so good for your as well as the oatmeal. I also add raisins or dried cranberries most of the time to the cooked oatmeal. This is one of my regular healthy wholesome breakfast and it satisfies you.
