This was a great recipe!!! I only had regular full-sodium soy sauce, and boy was I sorry. It was way to salty, but as-written this would have been amazing! Used fresh veggies and threw in some grilled pineapple. Excellent!

This was great! I changed a few things, though. I used a full cup of sliced almonds & 2 packages of stir-fry veggies; I doubled the cornstarch, brown sugar, ground ginger, & used a full cup of pineapple juice & kept the soy sauce at 1/3 cup per reviews saying they soy sauce was overpowering.

This recipe was fantastic! I think the only thing I might do differently next time is add some more pineapple juice, or as some suggested- pineapple chunks. Everyone loved it!

This was pretty good. I made it as is, except used a bit less chicken as I was making it for just the two of us. Kept the sauce amount as indicated though, so it worked out well. I used another reviewer's suggestion and added mandarin oranges. I added them on top of the stir-fry once it was in the plate, and it really was a great combination. Will try this one again for sure!

This recipe as is (in my experience) did not taste good. BUT I was able to take the basic ingredients and with a few tweaks I made a great meal. So for that I give it 2/5 stars. Starting with the positive: I loved the almond flavour that this stir fry offered. And pairing it with pineapple was shockingly delicious. I also like that I didn't have to use a whole bunch of different pots to make this; it was very dish-friendly! The first time I made up my sauce though, there was way too much soy sauce for me-- that's literally all I could taste in the sauce. I ended up throwing out all my hard work and starting over. My second time around I used sesame oil (rather than canola oil), added an extra tsp of brown sugar, put in the whole can of pineapple (juice and fruit combined), ommitted the Soy Sauce, added some extra spices and lemon juice, increased the amount of ginger and chopped up some Gala apples to add to the mix. I also adjusted the corn starch ratio, as I had trouble getting my sauce to thicken up. Anyway like I said, I had to basically rewrite the recipe to end up with a tasty product. So I can't in any good mind give it a better rating. It provided me with some inspiration, but isn't a dish I would recommend to a friend. Sorry!

I made this with leftover pork tenderloin and meatballs. For the most part, I made as written, but I added butter, black pepper, red pepper and more brown sugar to the wok when cooking. Yummy!
